Vehicle Detail
Sitting in storage now. All fluids topped off before storage - battery dead and one tire flat. The following was written when I parked it: Emberglo (Dark Red) exterior, Doeskin (cream) interior. Special Landeau edition. 390CI V8. Stock everything. I run 89 octane only. Comes with original shop manual and dealer production info. Very rare car - do your research. Car is a weekend driver. Chirps the wheels off the line, plenty of power. Ton of fun. Ready to drive away. I currently drive it about never. Features ================== Car cover included 10W30 synthetic oil just changed (clear) All chassic points lubricated Transmission fluid recent (bright red) Rear differential fluid just changed (bright red) Steering fluid topped off Coolant checked and topped off (bright green) Directionals work Fresh rubber wiper inserts installed last weekend All 5 wiper speeds work! All 4 power windows work! Sequential rear turn-signals DO work (this is a very rare Thunderbird factory feature) Factory AC installed - does not work, probably needs compressor ($250) AM/FM radio works, both front and rear speakers (Factory stock) Interior mirror joystick (non-power) --Possible Needs:-- =================== Ignition stuff is wonky. Switch just replaced, but won't start from the switch. I used to be able to jump the solenoid to start it, but that seems to be not working now also. I suspect a wonky neutral safety switch. THIS RAN LIKE A TOP WHEN PARKED. So, I know it's an electrical component. Washer pump works but fluid hoses need attention (only drips out, possible blockage) Tires are fine but a bit old, slight dry rot in between treads. Note: drivers side rear tire is flat. Battery and Alternator are good - had both tested 2 weekends ago - Ampere gauge needs attention Fuel gauge needs attention Power window switch is sensitive to humidity, would be good to replace it ($35-$50). Directional indicators need work - they sometimes work. **Note these are independent from the actual turnsignals, the turnsignals DO work correctly.
