1963 Mercury Monterey Convertible Selling this car for my dad as he is selling some of his classic cars. This is a 1963 Mercury Convertible. The car has a great running 390 V8, auto trans, starts right up and runs great with no odd issues and shifts just as it should, power steering, power top with boot, duel exhaust, new brakes, new goodyear radial white wall tires, new chrome wheels (I have original wheels and hubcaps which are availible with buy it now option) The cars runs and drives great, everything works lights/gauges/radio etc although the clock no longer keeps time. The miles are 85k and looks to be original but not sure. All the glass is good, body and frame are very solid, a little surface rust is visible in trunk and you can see in the pic with carpet pulled up. The blue paint still shines although it was repainted many years ago. All the stainless and chrome are in great shape although some of the pot-metal does have some pitting. The interior which is still usable was also re-done many years ago and would sure look great redone with new white vinyl to match the top which is in great shape.
