Here is another project that we don't want to finish although it is close. A 1940 Buick Super 4 door sedan. A really nice car. Can be a daily driver which is what the intentions were but not now. This car runs and drives but is not yet road worthy. The fluids have not been checked and some of the lights are inoperable at this point. The interior is there but needs some attention. The seats have covers on them but the original material is still there. It has the overhead valve straight 8 engine that purrs like a kitty. All doors work as do the windows. The car was stripped to bare metal, primmered twice and painted to protect the metal. The original paint was almost nonexistant when the car was purchased. This is a good old solid Montana car with a clear Montana title. It has nearly new tires on it with under 1000 miles on them. This was owned by an 87 year old gentleman who put the car in storage a while back then passed away. You can tell that it has always been taken care of. It has a new battery also, still the original 6 volt system. Gary is tired of working on these old cars and trucks and is cleaning out the herd so to say. Old age is creaping up on him and soon maybe someone will sell him on Ebay as an antique. He has a few projects that he wants to sell and this is one of them. This would be a beautiful daily driver or could easily be restored as there are a lot of parts out there such as trim and such. There are some dents but very small and easily fixable ones. There is a rust hole by one of the headlights and a couple very small holes in the front floor boards. Gary started to do the body work then decided to leave it as is and not try to cover anything up so the next guy can do it his own way. The car is painted with enamel paint with hardener in it to protect the metal but would really need to be repainted unless you were going to just drive the car. This car is sold as is where is with no warrenty implied. You buy it and it's yours. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We will help load in any way we can.
