Excellent garage kept example of a 1985 300CD two door coupe. This model was produced in a small quantity (1,291 in 1985) for the US market and cars in this condition are increasing in value each year. This is an original California car which was relocated to South Carolina in 2006. I am the 3rd owner of the car and have owned it since 2001. The car has been properly maintained throughout its life as confirmed by its present condition. Good: Everything works properly - yes even the AC which has been converted to R134a that included a new compressor. There are no mechanical issues with this car and it is ready to drive anywhere. Newer tires (excellent full size spare), new battery, oil just changed The odometer reads 253K but the engine only has 118K thanks to the incompetence of an oil change technician. Not as good: Still has Becker Grand Prix radio. Correct Mercedes wheel covers for non-turbo diesel model but not the alloy wheels that it came with. Some sand pitting in windshield. This is nice driving, nice riding, outstanding looking collectors classic that will continue to appreciate. No apologies.
