I am listing my 1993 Volvo 240 Sedan for sale. I am looking for $4,500.00. This is a multiple show winning car that is in great condition with nothing needed except regular oil changes for the next 30,000 miles or more. I have modified it to be a OEM+ version of itself. So basically if Volvo offered a sport package still with these cars for their last year of production I do believe this is how they would have offered it. This car was delievery from Sweden in the month of June in 1993. I have it's Diplomat Delivery Papers in the Original Owners Manual. All routine and preventive maintenance has been taken care of by a Volvo Master Technician at all times. I have only used synthetic oil(Mobil 1 high mileage 10w30) and Volvo Mann filters for oil changes. The car always gets noticed by Volvo enthusiast or anyone else who realizes how iconic this car was for it's time. These cars have been in production since the mid 70's and just like the VW Beetle there were only small tweaks done between model years. In 1993 the final production year the car was fitted with the B230L series engine which means there is an oil squirter on the back side of each cylinder. Also 4 wheel ABS and a Driver's Side SRS airbag were standard issue amongst: power door locks, R134a A/C, power windows, power heated mirrors, AW71 automatic transmission, 3 speed wipers, power antenna(Still Works!), and blacked out door handles with chrome belt line trim. I have added the 15' wheels that are wrapped with michelin hydroedge 205/50/15 tires with a treadlife warranty of 90k miles. They have only been on for about 7k miles. I have also added Volvo side marker turn signals with Volvo fender badges. I have also added the E-code glass headlamps w/sylvania silverstar ultra H4 bulbs, Hella 550 Comet Fog lights w/hella yellow star bulbs. Some other items are TME Sport Springs, IPD adjustable panhard rod, 242 GT front(21mm) and rear(23mm) sways with strut tower braces, Bilstein Touring shocks, ATE power stop disc on all 4 corners, Volvo Volt Guage, Volvo Small Tach Meter(6,5k redline), Volvo Armrest with 4 cup holders, Volvo headrest pads for all 4 seats, Volvo rear sunshade, Volvo floor trays, New map pockets, Volvo cruise control( it does not work right now but I have a new stalk to install). The audio consist of a Sony Ipod/CD/HD Radio/Sat head unit Infinity reference speakers in the front factory mounts and Infinty refernce speakers in the rear factory mounts in the hat shelf. The box in the trunk is custom to the car with 2 JL 10's and a MTX amp and it all sounds very nice and crisp. This car has won two first place titles at DubJam along with being a 2 year in a row photofinalist for IPD's photo contest. It has also been featured on the cover of their RWD catalog. I am only listing it due to my Father's death and now having bills to pay and no need for a secondary car due to them. I am the Third owner of the car there has just been a lot of title changes in the past couple months due to my move home to New Orleans and moving the vehicle out of my Father's name to mine. Car has recently been transferred to Louisiana title and tag also with just passing inspection for a Brake Tag so it is road legal for the next year May 2012, tag is good till 2013.
