Hate to see this one go, This is our 1985 Porsche 944, it has 160,000 miles, very fun to drive, sporty and looks really good for its age. We have owned this car since October of 2010, it's our "weekend" car it has been very dependable and well maintained, aside from needing some minor interior work- (leather seats are cracked on the drivers side, some minor cracks on the dash *see pics) other than that the interior is in good shape- could easily be hidden with seat covers.The body is in great shape, few little dings but I would say above average for the age and has no rust. The car has a brand new battery, I bought it last weekend on Aug 13th- still under warranty, the brakes were replaced about a year ago- still has good pads on it, the tires probably have less than 5000 miles on them- they are in really good shape with I'd say about 80% tread on them, maybe more. It is a 5 speed manual and the shifting is very tight, I have never had any transmission problems with this car. The sunroof still works, all the lights and mechanical gauges work, even the MPG estimator and the shift light. Also, both headlights operate as they should. The car does not leak oil, what you put in comes out when you change the oil, it has brand new spark plugs- newer wires- usually replaced plugs every year because they are gaped so low, .028, the car also has a brand new air filter. The car's alignment seems very good as it does not pull either direction when you drive down the road, it also has no problem maintaining and gaining speed. The only thing I can see it needing is a fuel filter, which I have ordered for the car and will put in if I have the time before the auction ends, if I don't I will send it with the car- they are expensive and I have no use for it, as far as parts go- if you are wondering, parts for this car are very reasonably priced at Autozone and O'Riely's, typically have to be ordered due to the shortage of demand.
