Up for auction is one (1) 2001 Audi TT Roadster Convertible. This car has a manual transmission and the optional powered convertible top. It drives very well and is a lot of fun. Since we purchased the car in August of 2008, we have completed the following maintenance items: Replacements in September 2008 (Made by Jack Ingram Audi) - Mileage was 74,369 Tensioners Belt Damper Water Pump Timing Belt Rollers Replacements in September 2008 (Made by Audi Performance Racing) Stage 2 Clutch Replacements in October 2008 (Made by Jack Ingram Audi) - Mileage was 75,295 Serpentine Belt Replacements in September 2009 (Made by Sexton Tire) - Mileage was 81,812 2 Tires Replaced (Michellin) Alignment and Rotation Complete Replacements in November 2009 Emergency Flashers button Replacements in November 2010 (Made by Audi Performance Racing) Stage 1 Clutch Replacements in March 2011 Mass Airflow Sensor Replacements in July 2011 Battery Please be aware of the following items that are minor in nature and have not been repaired. 1.) Most Audi TT's built during this time have problems with the LED display at the gauge cluster. I believe that this was a recall at one time, but the previous Owner must have opted not to replace this panel. The only problem is that the display is somewhat hard to read at times. Please see the photos to see this problem more clearly. Everything works correctly with the display, but it is simply hard to read. 2.) There are two small dings in the driver's side door. These were present when we purchased the car. 3.) The tinting in the rear window has bubbles present. The inner tinting can be pealed off if desired. This has not bothered us, but it may bother someone else. 4.) There is a small compartment door between the seats (between the trunk and passenger compartment). The door has a small plastic piece that holds the door closed which that has broken off. We have installed velcro in this area to keep the door closed, and it works just fine. Again, this may be a problem for someone else though, so I want to make sure you are aware if this. 5.) Audi TT's are also known to have problems with the glove box handle. On this car, the glove box handle works, but will come off it pulled hard. You can simply replace it back on the door, and it will function fine. Again, this is not a major problem but can be annoying at times. 6.) Two small paint spots on the rear of the vehicle where car appeared to be "egged" at one time. Please see the photos of this area as well. The paint is not peeling, and the damage is hardly noticable. Overall, this is a wonderful car that is in good condition. It is 10 years old, and does have some wear, as to be expected. I wanted to make sure I point out everything that I know is wrong so the buyer understands and has complete confidence in what they are buying. This is NOT a new car, but is very desirable in many ways. We have completed most of the major and expensive mechanical maintenance items including the timing belt, clutch, and water pump.
