Vehicle Detail
Well the time has come to put our 2003 Cobra up for sale. As much as I hate to, their are other projects in the future I need to focus on. This Cobra was my shop car(dagostinoracing.com). The goal was to have a 9sec street/strip car, and while I haven't had the chance to take it down the 1/4 mile yet I am sure it is at that level if not very close. A bit about the Cobra. It is a 2003 model, Black, and has 16,600 original miles. About 200 miles on the built engine if that. The mod list is quite extensive: -Made 775rwhp @25psi on E85 Fuel. -Kenne Bell 2.8L Mammoth Supercharger Kit -Engine is a built 4.6L Aluminum Block. Manley I-Beam Rods, Cobra crank, and Diamond Pistons. Compression was around 9.3:1. The bottom end is made to withstand 1000rwhp++. -Heads were Ported and Polished by Total Engine Airflow, has Ford Racing GT Supercar Cams, and Crower Valvetrain. (Titanium Retainers) -Kooks 1-7/8 by 1-3/4" Longtube Step Headers -Mac Pro Dump Exhaust -T-56 Transmission with 26 Spline Input Shaft, Spec Stage 3+ Clutch, Spec Aluminum Flywheel. -Fuel system is our DRI 1500 HP Fuel System with a Glenn's Performance Sumped Tank, Magnafuel MP750, Custom Fuel Rails, and Injector Dynamics High Impedance 1000cc Injectors(Roughly 96lb/hr), all nickel and black fittings, and runs on E85. (Link to our fuel system: http://dagostinoracing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2678_122_1447_1452_14621&products_id=13783) -Solid Axle with 33 Spline Moser Rear Axles with 8.8" Spool and TA Performance Rear Cover -Brembo Cobra "R" Front Brakes -HRE 445R 18x8.5 Front and 18x10 Rear (Black with polished lip) -Recaro Pole Position Racing Seats -Chrome-moly 10pt Cage (The cage is a work of art. It contours perfectly with the interior pillars and is not noticeable from outside.) -Simpson 5 Point Harness -UPR Anti-Roll Bar Kit -Koni Double Adjustable Rear Shocks -Steeda Drag Springs -Front Coil Over Kit with 90/10 Struts The list goes on and on. But you get the point, it is a street/strip car. Low miles, in excellent condition, a few scratches here and there, but expected from an 8 year old car. The car was in a minor fender bender back when I first bought it thus the accident report, other then that minor incident the car has never had any issues. This car is intended for limited street use, it is not meant to be daily driven. Yes, the A/C and Radio do work but the car is not designed to be driven every day due to the suspension setup and the fact it has a 10 point chrome-moly cage. The suspension and setup are designed for a street/strip or week end warrior in mind. Only the BEST components were used to build this car. If you are looking for a solid street/strip car, this is for you. If you are on a budget, or looking for a fast daily driver, this isn't for you. The Cobra was professionally tuned by Eric Brooks(brooksspeed.com) and was tuned to run on E85. Here is a link of it on the dyno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIQpTEMruv0 Feel free to ask any questions.
