Vehicle Detail

This vintage Honda Magna still sports one of the best engines Honda ever created: the 90 degree V-4 has perfect primary balance so it runs smooth at nearly all speeds. It has plenty of power for initial acceleration and passing. The bike sports a 6-speed transmission and hydraulic clutch. I have ridden this motorcycle out to the west coast and back twice and enjoyed every minute of it. But, unfortunately, it is time to let it go. Due to changes in my life circumstances (marriage, kids, etc.) the bike has sat in my garage for the past 4 years; and so it is time to move on. Along with the bike I am including the following accessories. Soft/structured saddle bags A seat bag for smaller items Replacement seat cover for the rear seat (driver seat has a new cover) I put on new tires at around 10,000 miles and the bike has been garage-kept for over twenty years. Still, appearance-wise it is just ok with some rust on the chrome. The motorcycle comes with a few problems that I will list in order of what I think are worst to least. All of them are fixable, especially if you are mechanically inclined and/or have worked on motorcycles before. Bike has not been started in four years and still has same gas in tank so jets probably need to be cleaned Hydraulic clutch does not work; stays in engaged position. Not sure if this is due to loss of fluid or some other problem Left rear shock is blown (see close-up photo) No battery Fork lock is broken You can see from one of the photos that there is a dent in the tank that has been there for over twenty years. It happened when I had the bike parked in back of my old apartment--don't know how--and none of the other tenants or their hard partying friends would own up to it. The paint did not crack and I never felt it was worth replacing the tank. I am guessing the fork lock was broken by someone trying to steal the motorcycle from the parking lot in back of my old apartment overnight about a year after I bought it. Since I always used a kryptonite lock in addition they were unsuccessful. Since the bike does not run I cannot drive it to a facility to have it delivered so you will have to come with a truck to pick it up. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
