Low Miles! 1997 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Regency 1997 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Regency 3.8 Liter V6 Engine Fuel Injection, Automatic 4 SPD Electronic Trans Catalyst, Feedback Fuel System ˜Low Original Miles: 49,258 ˜ Very Good Condition˜ Very clean and well maintained with original service records and original car sticker. Leather and well optioned! NOTE: This car does NOT have a Sun Roof as automatically noted above. The actual color of the car is as pictured, a light beige metallic exterior and beige interior. The first owner had the car from 04/24/1997 to 01/10/2011. The car belonged to a dear friend of our family she was like a grandmother to us and she gifted the car to us two weeks before she passed away. It has taken some time to feel right about selling this car, but we live in a rural farm area and we own two other vehicles. I posted 99 pictures to give you a realistic and true perspective of the condition of the car. The car has not been detailed, it has only been washed and wiped down as not to alter its true presentation. Transmission shifts crisply and quickly, no unusual sounds, car drives straight, no pulling, no wandering, the Auto Leveling system and Traction system appear to be working correctly. A very smooth comfortable drive. Heater and AC work, AC blows cold (takes a few minutes, see owners manual for settings), The spindle that controls the amount of air coming out of the AC vent on the left driver side is broken (See pic). The air comes out just fine and you can rotate the direction of the air just not the quantity of air flow. You can manually close off the air flow or open the air flow by easily removing the vent and changing the direction of the air flap. 2 sets of original Keys and remotes as shown in picture Radio works: Cassette player works correctly (I am including the Cassette adapter pictured as it works great with any mp3 player or ipod if you do not want to replace the radio), I have not tested the CD player as all my music is on mp3. All exterior lights work Rear Defog works Power Trunk opener and closer work correctly Power antenna works properly as well. The passenger light on the front upper center console does not work. It may just need a new light bulb, but I'm not sure. The Rear Passenger window does not work. The window is all the way up, when you press the down on the button you can hear a clicking but there is not movement. I am not sure if it is a motor, a fuse, or loose connection. Interior is in very clean condition. The carpet is extremely clean with what appears to be the original mats. There is a picture with a black mat on the driver side that I use not soil mat or carpet. The single black protective mat is not part of this auction as it belongs to my other vehicle. The leather is in very good condition, I have only wiped it down with a small amount of filtered water as I am not familiar with care on leather in vehicles. The leather on the driver side has some wear please see the pictures, it's not bad, but best to mention it. The rest of the leather on the back and passenger seats are in very good condition with minimal ware and a few smudges that should come off with a leather cleaner. The headliner does not appear to have any visible rips, creases or stains, nothing sagging. The Dashboard is clean, not cracked or distorted, controls show very minimal use. Body has only a few scuff marks and minor scratches, and I think 2 small dings on the passenger side doors (I don't think the dings were visible on the pics). The passenger assist handle is somewhat loose on the front passenger side and the color on it appears to be fading. The other 2 passenger assist handles in the back are very secure but they are also fading in color near the edges (see pics). Cosmetically speaking and the most disturbing aspect of the car are the 2 interior side panels of ther rear window, where the lining appears ripped. I thought it might be sun damage but the back leather seats are very nice with no sun damage. The paint on the car appears to be original and depending on how the sun hits the car you can see some hair line scratches on the clear coat, I could not get this to appear on the pictures. There is some minor paint chipping on one of the doors where the door molding panel meets with the door (see pic). I have most if not all the service records for this vehicle. The former owner was very meticulous, from the records it looks like she had oil changes done every 3 months (even if she only put on 1000 miles on the car in those 3 months). Scanning through the records it only appears that she had routine maintenance. She did replace the front headlights because the original ones would retain water and she hated that. If I recall correctly she did the same for the back lights, she kept one of the back lights that did not retain the water (see picture) and this extra tail light is part of this auction. The front grill was replaced because on the previous one chrome appeared oxidized. I only found 2 road service records: one for a flat tire (all 4 tires replace on 11/08/00 @ 24,500 miles on OD) and the other for a battery (new battery on 01/16/09). All the paperwork I have on this car will be given to the auction winner when we close the transaction. ADDITIONAL NOTE: The car will be lightly driven during the duration of the auction. At close of auction I estimate that the car will have no more the 200 additional miles to the stated milage on this auction. My husband and I are willing to deliver the car to Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY for an additional non-refundable fee of $80.
