This is a 1988 Fiero automatic with custom added Formula upgrades! Except for the v6, it has Formula upgrades such as the factory rear sway bar, 120 mph gauge and center console optional gauges, and GT steering wheel. So it has pw, pdl,factory sub system, sun roof and panel, cruise control, optional gauges, GM stereo with CD, etc. It does not have a rear spoiler, but I do have one that can be made available for an extra cost. I started out with the intention of upgrading this car from a standard coupe to a Formula or GT at one time and added all the upgrades (not part of this auction- I had picked up a complete set of GT body panels and an 1988 v6 engine for parts and a 3.4L Trans Am engine to supplement the 2.8L that will be sold on a separate auction) that I have just never had time to complete. This car has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine that is complete, but no longer runs. Last time it ran it sounded like a lifter may have failed, but this is only a guess as I have not taken the engine apart to investigate. The automatic transmission was fine last time it was driven. The body panels are in good condition but the paint clear coat is peeling and the vehicle will need to be repainted and the passanger side sail panel is chipped. All the rims are straight and should be refinished. The tires are old and OK to move the car around but are not to be driven on. The interior is gray and in overall good condition with normal wear fo a car this age. The headliner will need replacing. It is a California car, so the frame is clean and there is no rust. The vehicle is being sold as a parts car or as a project car for someone seeking a complete car that needs restoration.
