For this sale I have a drivable, super clean, hard to find in this condition 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air sports coupe. The car is in great condition and is looking for the right home to fix her up. This would be a great winter project or you can start her up and drive her around as is. This is the perfect rockabilly cruiser or a great restoration project for that die hard classic car fan. The car is 97% complete and even has the original owners manual still!!! The car has its fair share of small dings but for as old as it is it is clear that it has been garage kept and well preserved. I have owned for about a year and just don't have the time it deserves to take her out or restore her. I take her out every other week for a nice drive to keep everything running good. There are some upgrades that the previous owner had put in like front disk brakes, AM/FM cassette deck with an AUX cable for an MP3 player, the interior is nice but appears to be re-done at one point. The car has new dolphin gauges and a painless wiring harness installed. I have receipts from the previous owner. The tires are in great new condition and the engine runs strong with lots of power. Nothing good can ever come with out bad though and I will list that as well. The drivers door window will need to be replaced, it is cracked from the top right corner coming down, it still lowers and raises and as far as I can tell will work for some time (solid) but it should be replaced eventually, the car is old and doesn't seem to have been restored so it has its rattles, and shakes that older cars typically have, nothing that can't be fixed but you need to know that you are buying a 1954 and that it will have some things that need to be adjusted and or fixed strictly due to age. The antenna is no longer there as a car wash yanked it out, too easy a fix though and there is a small leak underneath that I believe is a rear diff gasket that Chevy or you can fix in about 45 minutes. The corner of the hood closest to the passenger windshield will need some body work or some filler to fix as it appears it was opened wrong at some point and bent. The hood springs are original and don't lift the hood like they did in 1954 so I have to normally hold the hood open with a rod or something. The car is a beauty and will no doubt make the next owner as happy as it has made me, it need some work of course but the condition of the car for its age is truly spectacular, there isn't even rust on the fender wells and the car still has the fender skirts!! To part this car out would still bring more money than what I am asking I just dont have the time to do it so I will sell complete, I mean when is the last time you saw a great condition inline six Blue Flame for sale? I have listed this car at a more than fair price and the condition is much better than some of the others I have seen on this site. Please feel free to make an offer, you never know unless you try.
