1970 Triumph Bonneville

1970 Triumph Bonneville in very good condition. This is a matching numbers bike with a rebuilt motor, so the mileage is only listed at 10 because that's all there is on the rebuild so far. Total mileage covered by this bike in it's lifetime is unknown. It starts right up and runs great. The motor will need running in though, something most Triumph owners are familiar with. Details: -Rebuilt 650 motor-New Amal 930 Concentric carbs-New Boyer electronic ignition-New wheel bearings-New sealed battery-Tires are not new but have very good tread and no cracking.-Stainless Steel Fenders-New rear chain-All new rubbers-Original Smiths instruments both work, but the speedo has a crack in the glass(does not affect the functioning of the guage)-Many small new parts and bits here and there-Electrics work fine using the original wiring harness.-Seat is in very good condition with no rips.-New cables The only thing keeping this bike from being totally stock is the paint job. The black paint on the tank is very usable, but certainly not show quality. The imperfections can be seen in the photos. This is a highly desirable year and model for Triumph. Considering this, I believe I have set the reserve accordingly. I intend to let the auction run it's course, and if the reserve is met it will sell to the highest bidder. **This bike will be sold with a Bill of Sale only! I do not have a title for this bike. If your state requires a title(most states don't for a bike this old), you can obtain one through a title service for about $100. I have done it before without any problems and it only took about a week.** PLEASE, only bid if you intend to pay. PAYMENT: A deposit of $500 will be due via Paypal at the end of the auction. The remaining balance will be due within a week of that date and should be paid with a bank check or cash. No personal checks and no paypal. SHIPPING: Local pick-up is definitely preferred, but if the winning bidder would like this bike shipped to their location, they will have to make all arrangements.
