Vehicle Detail

Absolutely "RUST FREE", "SOLID" body. If you want specific pics, please let me know and I will take fresh pics and send them to you. 1965 Dodge Coronet that I purchased 9 years ago. It had no motor or trans. It came from factory with a 318. I purchased a 1972 440 and had it rebuilt by a friend who has meticulously rebuilt more motors than he can recall, and he is an ultimate Mopar guy. I had him rebuild it stock w/purple cam. This baby will set you back in you'r seat, but can be taken on long highway trips, or daily driver. Has less than 5,000 miles since rebuild. Installed on the motor are: Torker II intake, windage tray, 904 heads, Mopar high performance exhaust manifolds, Mopar performance valve covers and air cleaner, Edlebrock performer carb. w/electric choke 600cfm, I had a used 750cfm Carter competition series originally, but didn't perform as I expected It may have been that it was not functioning properly. I decided I needed a new carb. After researching from Edlebrock, the stock engine I had built, requires no more than the 600cfm. Also installed, Mopar electronic ignition kit, new battery, new aluminum radiator w/fan (always stays @ 190 degrees). Flomaster dual exhaust, Sure grip (Posi) 3.23 rear end. I had the dash pad restored, lots of new weather stripping including the"cat whiskers", The OEM gauges work, but, I installed a new 3 gauge cluster under dash: oil pressure, water temp and amp. Remote drivers mirror, new door panels front and rear, new arm rests front and rear, new carpet. I installed stock OEM glove box light, courtesy light, trunk light, original radio still works perfectly, but I installed a new remote control stereo w/cd player under dash, OEM windshield wipers in pristine condition, complete original jack. Painted 4 years ago. I had taken all the chrome off, removed all interior. The interior was painted, the exterior was painted the engine compartment was painted along with both sides of hood and trunk lid (complete paint job) except trunk pan. After 4 years there are some scratches and scuffs. But still looks beautiful. wherever I go, heads turn and thumbs go up. I just took it in to Big Johnson's automotive (Mopar guy) to have it inspected. I told him that I needed to sell this, and I needed to be assured it is in perfect condition to travel cross country if need be. He replaced alternator, spark plugs, rotor cap, wires, trans filter, valve cover gaskets and brake line. He said it is good to go, and specifically mentioned that the motor was tight ran great and was impressed with the rebuild. I have more invested in this vehicle than it's appraised value. As a matter of fact, I stopped counting after $20,000. I left underneath the way it was, there is a factory undercoating, and this vehicle has been in California it's whole life. No rust issues. Has rear air shocks to lift or lower rear. There is a problem with the heater. I believe it is a vacuum issue. The off button is not working. There are small vacuum hoses that connect to the controller. I believe the hose that controls the off is probably cracked. The heater fan works properly there are 3 settings. Interior headliner/window trim chrome is pitted. okay for driver I had this car appraised 2 years ago @ $17,500 from Showcase Of Motorcars in Petaluma, Ca. and that was before Radiator upgrade and other upgrades. I must sell this for 2 reasons. #1, I am in the middle of major home remodel and need to liquefy assets. And #2, I will no longer have indoor storage for this. This vehicle is priced for quick sale. There is no warranty. I will give phone contact info and address to inspect to serious inquiries. Again, if you want specific pics, please let me know and I will take fresh pics and send them to you
