Vehicle Detail
finally decided to sell my 1965 dodge laundry truck that i had since 2003.My interest gravitated towards motorcycles. This truck is on a 1 ton dually chassis,iT features the indestructible polyhead 318 motor that is coupled to a 4 speed[granny gear] transmission. The wheelbase is 137 inches.Under the truck on the framerail is a vacuum booster for the brakes. After honing out the clutch slavecylinder and bleeding the system, the truck stated right up and drove out of my shop under its own power, the motor sounds good, transmission and clutch operate fine.Leaving it out for a couple of days was a mistake, copperthieves stole the radiator. Here are the measurements for the truck.Total lenght bumper to trailerball238 inches, height of the box with the roof rack98 inches, width 85 inches. The bachpart odf the boxis 76 long,69 wide and 57 inches high on the inside. The front 2 compartments with shelves are34 wide and 32 inches deep. This truck was used as a laundry delivery vehicle untill the mid 90s.The body is fairly straight, doorsteps are good, but it does have some rust under the pedals and in the doors. The box has some rust in the doors. Not too bad ,the box has galvanized panels..All glass is good and yes it will drive up on a trailer. There are 2 gastanks with a switch, the fronttires are good, the rear ones don't have much profile left.It is the last year for the cool refrigerator doorhandles.A truck well worth saving or restoring. For questions please call 214/707 9525.Texas buyers have to pay tt+l fees, out of state buyers a 50 dollar doc fee.No reserve, the bidding starts at what the truck is worth for scrapmetal plus the Fee-bay fees.
