1983 PORSCHE 911SC CABRIOLET 61,000+ MILES THREE OWNER/AC/CD I am selling this beautiful 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet that has been sitting for the last eight years in a climate controlled garage. The car is all original and runs great. The car is showing 61,000 miles however the speedometer cable is loose and stops occassionally. It does have AC and the compressor and fans operate properly and it will need a new charge. I will try and provide as much detail as possible, as follows: Interior - the interior is in excellent condition with the carpets and dash in in near perfect condition. The seats have shrunk a little and certain areas show the start of seperation in the stitching. The door panels are in excellent condition. All gauges operate properly and function easily. There is an aftermarket CD and the speaker switch does operate. The speedometer works great but the odometer cable is loose and will need minor repair. It does have the original Carrera Mats. There are no rips or tears present on any of the leather interior. Exterior - the paint is beautiful and original with the exception of the lower area of the passenger side bumper. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car and with the exception of minor chipping on the hood, the body is free of any damage or required repairs. The lower panel at the rear has been pushed in and only requires minor repair. The paint is brilliant and consistent throughout the car. The door hinges and all gutter areas are in exceptional condition. The trunk and engine compartments are in excellent condition. Mechanically - the car has been sitting but runs great. The transmission shifts smooth, the clutch operates properly with no slipping or bad adjustment. The brakes will probably need to be replaced in the near future although they work great and the car stops on a dime. The engine has a very smooth idle and is Porsche quiet with no exhaust or abnormal noises. There is a small oil line leak that drops a minimal amount on the header on the passenger side of the car. This is no abnormal oil use or leaks on this car and the car maintains perfect oil pressure. There are NO overheating issues. The air condioner Compressor does need to be recharged but does operate. Wheel & Tires - both in like new condition with BBS Wheels and tires with less than 3,000 miles of use. There is slight curb rash on the very outer lip of the rear drivers side wheel. Electronics - all systems work properly including the power windows, power mirrors, radio, all lights, fog lights, turn signals, interior lights, and gauges Top - The top was replaced 8 years ago and is in excellent condition. Extras: Original Tool Kit Original Spare Tire Boot for the Top Car Cover These are my observation of the car and I encourage you to have an inspection of the car if you have any questions about the current condition. This is as nice a 911SC as you will find in the country and has had only three owners since new. I do have a clear title and no Loan or Lien. The miles are believed to be as close as displayed although I have realized some irratic display. The car is rarely used and only taken out on special summer days. The condition displays great car since new. There was a minor accident a long time ago that involved the right front fender and headlight.
