I believe I'm the second owner of this car. I might be the third. I bought it in the mid 80's as my first car. I fixed it up in highschool. I parked it in our garage in the mid 90's. I ran it every now and than but never got in lisenced again. I don't have the money to fix it back up. It has the original engine. I put a 4 barrel carb on it. I think I have the original in a box. It has the original 289 engine. I have a four speed in it now. That is not the original. The serial number should tell you what it had in it. As far as I know it has never been wrecked outside of the little fender benders I did growing up on a farm in the country. I hit a dear which did very little. I slid into a stop sign. Again did very little. I slid off the road and a rock messed up one rear quarter panel. The interior is pretty straight. Some mice got in it while it was stored. The ruined the headliner. The rest of it is about a six of seven out of ten by my standards. I'm going to leave it dirty and not clean it a bit. I drove it about 30 miles to get it to my current home. Started right up and drove fine. I need to fix a flat tire. I need to get rid of this before I get emotional about selling my first car. For someone that wants to fix up this classic, I can't think of a better car to start with. We can visit more about it and I'm happy to let you know more about it. Troy
