Making room for a new car,so up for auction I am offering my baby, a 1997 Jaguar XK8 in Pacific Blue metallic exterior with Ivory leather, and Blue convertible top. The car is originally a California car. I purchsed this vehicle from a local dealer. Prior to my purchasing it, the dealer had the car inspected. There was no evidence of accidents, damage, or any major issues. It is extremely reliable, and doesnt suffer from any of the problems of most 97's in that the engine was replaced with the upgraded engine by the dealer at about 50,000 miles. The engines on the 97 to about 2002 were problematic. The transmission was also replaced around 35,000 miles ago. All this is documented, as I have many receipts, as well as the dealer maintanance book. The car also features rare optional 18" alloy wheels with proper size tires. Tires have about 90 % tread and are less than a year old. The wheel bearings have been replaced, brakes done all new cooling system upgrades and the car receives an oil change every 3000 miles. All electrics such as window lifts, gauges, power top,aerial, etc all work. It had a wheel alignment prior to new tires installed, and passed the California emissions test with no problems upon registration renewal last year. There are no oil leaks anywhere, and no known problems with this car. Interior shows about average wear for age, just some minor wear, with no rips or tears. This is a lovely car that be immediately driven and enjoyed. Car is located in Orange County, California. Inspections must be carried out prior to auction end. Please bear in mind that although I have tried to describe the car as best as possible it is a used car and will have minor wear and tear, is sold as is and all sales are final.
