Vehicle Detail
Got married.. buying a house.. sad but the Land Cruiser has to go! I bought the truck 5 years ago from the previous owner in Los Angeles. The current odometer reading is 37700, I expect that is really 137700 but the previous owner did not know enough to be 100% sure. It runs great but I just don't have time to enjoy it these days (also did I mention buying a house?). The Good: - Carburetor - new one installed 4 years ago - Radiator - new installed 4 years ago - Tie rods - new, replaced about 3 years ago - Tires - replaced 3 years ago, lots of tread The Bad: - A few rust spots (shown in detail in photos) on window frame and bib. _Very_ slight surface rust on back quarter panel. - Paint job looks great from 10 feet. Up close you can see some corners cut by the previous owner. - Weatherstripping is in bad shape (I have replacement, see Extras) - One spot on the sill above rear window (on hard top) looks to have bondo repair by previous owner. Also, it will occasionally have difficulty getting back into 1st from neutral at a stop. Pushing in the clutch, moving it into 2nd and then into 1st has always got around this issue. It has never been a problem for me but I mention it here in the interest of full disclosure. The Extras: - I removed the rear heater as the core has a small leak in it but I still have the heater, hoses, and everything to hook it up again. - Full set of replacement weatherstripping and glue from Cool Cruisers of Texas. - Set of replacement frame pads also from Cool Cruisers of Texas. - New Spare passenger side window regulator. The current one works fine but I replaced the driver side one and got both in the deal. I have tried to point out everything that I know of but if you have any specific questions please email me at rodney55@hotmail.com . Thanks for bidding!
