Up for auction is a 1968 Austin Healey Sprite. This car was last registered in 1981 and was stored in a dry garage all those years. I acquired it a couple of months ago and the things I've done to it are: New (remanufactured) starter, Put a kit in the clutch slave cylinder along with a new hydraulic hose, Put a kit in the left rear wheel cylinder along with new brake shoes, Installed a new fuel pump, Changed the oil and filter. It will start and has good oil pressure as you can see from the picture of the gauge at idle. I've driven it just a bit, shifts good, the brakes still need more work (I've got the wheel cylinder kit and brake shoes for the right side). The top is there but it is in shreds, the top bows seem to be in good shape. A tonneau cover is included. Hood ornamentation is missing. Notice the rust through on the left front edge of the hood. There is typical rust in the rear edges of front and rear fenders(see photos). It has a clear Texas title. The odometer shows 70111 miles, I have no idea if this is actual, correct mileage.
