Vehicle Detail
1969 Dodge Charger. This car has beat the odds! This car has not been molested with body repairs. It had been stored high and dry in a climate controlled garage in 1980 and has just been removed from an over 30 year hibernation! The paint is the same R4 red the dodge boys applied at the factory and it still shines! It is loaded up with options including factory air conditioning, a console shifted automatic, power steering, power brakes, a mint condition premium wood wheel and pedal trim, and a tic-tock-tach that works like new! The car has had a new fuel system installed (gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, hoses and filter). The 318 V8 fires right up and runs smooth. I have driven this car approximately 15 miles and the engine runs strong! It will easily light the tires at part throttle. The car has an 8 3/4 sure grip positraction rearend with the very desirable 3:23 ratio. The grill does not have a single crack, the frame and floors are spotless and the car has all of its original sheet metal covered in its original paint. This car is rock solid with the exception of a few small rust spots in the rear valance, and each rear lower quarter panel. All of these spots could easily be repaired and refinished to the point of undetection as they do not extend into the spot welded areas. The only things I see missing are the front windshield trim, wiper arms, back glass trim, and radio. I have bought these parts and will include them in the auction .The windshield has a crack and will need to be replaced. Please ask questions or come take a look. Full payment due within one week of auction close. Pickup within two weeks of auction close. Winning bidder pays a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close. This is a no reserve auction. There are three videos of this car on youtube. If you would like to see them just go to youtube and look up: Mrmbaumgartner
