This is a very nice and very rare 1956 chevy sedan delivery.Formerly know as THE ROCK AND ROLL EXPRESS.It currently has a balanced 1969 model 427 big block engine with big cam,big tube headers,edelbrock intake and edelbrock carb.Engine has about 10000 miles.The transmission is a turbo 400 with a 3000 stall converter and shift kit.The rear end is a ford 9" with 355 gears non posi.It has a ratchet shifter on the floor.The wheels are weld racing wheels with 15x9 in back and 15x4 in the front,tires are old and will need to be replaced soon.The paint and body work was done about 7 years ago and still shows well.It's not a bunch of bondo.There are some flaws here and there but overall still looks nice.Brand new front windshield with new rubber.The wipers,head lights,parking lights and turn signals work.It has a current inspection sticker for Mississippi.The chrome is all there and needs to be polished up.It does have some light surface rust and pitts but looks ok for a daily driver.I have both rear view mirrors.The exhaust is dual flowmasters that exit in front of the rear wheels.There are cut outs installed if you like it loud.The frame is solid and shows no rust.I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.This is a perfect start for someone looking to restore or just drive.If you know anything about these cars,you know they are very hard to find in this shape.Please email me with any questions,i will try to get back to you asap.I will not end the auction early so please don't ask.I have set the reserve at a very fair price.On Aug-03-11 at 16:44:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Youtube link to the car.I did a walk around with the car running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x55VerGCH-4On Aug-04-11 at 11:05:16 PDT, seller added the following information: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE RESERVE PRICE PLEASE EMAIL ME.TRUST ME,IT'S A VERY GOOD PRICE.On Aug-07-11 at 16:34:37 PDT, seller added the following information: MY RESERVE ON THE CAR IS SET FOR ONLY 9,000.I HAVE LOWERED THE BUY IT NOW TO 10,000.THIS IS A HELL OF A CAR FOR THE PRICE.YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FIND AND BUILD A CAR LIKE THIS FOR 9 GRAND.
