THIS IS A 1997 CHEVY 15FT BOX VAN. I bought this box van in May of 2009 and drove it home over 2 hours away (100+ miles). It ran great and everything worked fine. I was told by the previous owner that it needed intake manifold gaskets replaced and I had to put antifreeze in it before I left. I checked the antifreeze and oil twice on the way home that day and the levels were fine. When I got it home, I parked it and the next morning, I checked the oil level and it was way too high. As the previous owner said, the antifreeze would leak into the crankcase throught the intake gaskets. I then drained all the antifreeze and oil, put new oil and filter in it and bought the complete full gasket set from Summit Racing and was going to do the head gaskets up since it was so involved to do the intake gaskets alone (why go that far and not do it). I bought 2 used front doors and switched them out. Tow mirrors and locks must be removed from the old doors and installed in the new doors. Additionally, I have 3 ignition keys that will work in the door locks too. Rear tires are in good to like new condition. Front tires are decent. Complete exhaust system is in really good shape and will last for a very long time. This is a used box van and has some normal wear and tare - minor chips, dings, scratches, surface rust, etc from driving and usage but in good clean used condition. Brakes have frozen up and need repaired before road worthy. Vehicle will need towed from location (zip code 44216). Starts and runs but no brakes. Selling as is and no returns. $500 non-refunable deposit due within 24 hours. Remaining balance with paypal or cash within 7 days. You can back out at time of pickup but you will loose the deposit.
