Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for sale is a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 it is a 1 owner car and it does have the Original build sheet, and has been in storage since 1995. I first want to explain the overall condition; it needs a total restoration from top to bottom. It does not have the orig engine, but it does have a 1970 CTW date coded 396, 350 HP engine. It also has the orig 12 bolt rear end, and turbo 400 transmission, I can not find the vin numbers on the trans it might be a factory replacement, orig exhaust system but of course it needs a new one, all the options are on the build sheet including ps, pdb, air cond. The roof and the back of the car are rusted and needs all of the attention on that part of the body, oddly enough the floors have no rust and the front of the car has minimal rust. The cowl induction hood and the trunk lid are in great shape. I did not speak to the owner there is a small crack in the left lower control arm next to the coil spring where it was repaired by welding and not fixed well that also needs attention as well. The car runs and drives good, it still has plenty of power under a load and right wheel spins very easily. I found the build sheet behind the rear seat and carefully removed it and put it in a plastic bag for safe keeping.
