This motor and tranny are mounted low and back for true mid-engine performance as the engine is behind the front axle line. Turbotweak chip and 42lb injectors mean crazy fast acceleration at 17lbs boost here at 7000ft elevation, imagine at lower altitude! Adjustable wastegate and blow-off valve allow for boost control and that sweet blow-off woosh sound! Front mounted intercooler, hooker headers, new walker copper radiator with tranny cooler and electronically controlled fan keep the engine cool and power high. A custom 4 exhaust with a side exit eliminates back-pressure. Casper electronics custom plug and play wiring harness with grand national ecu tied into a Painless performance fuse block and truck harness for trouble free wiring. Aeroquip lines throughout. Aeromotive fuel pump and fuel filter handle fuel supply. A Summit racing fuel cell is mounted under the bed. VDO gauges with boost, tach, volts, fuel and water mounted under the dash for a subtle rod look. Wouldnt want to spoil the weathered perfection of that dash! The original speedo works and is accurate and some tiny leds for the blinker lights are mounted in the other original factory gauge.
