It is powered by The famous 2.3 liter OHC 4 cylinder engine that has been known to travel hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles(my 17 year old son tried to kill one...and couldn't). The best part is that this one is Soooooooo Nice.....Extremely desirable and very hard to come by, especially with only 105,000 miles, which is LESS than 4,000 miles per year.....INCREDIBLE. This is a non-smokers car that is extremely clean inside! It would appear that it spent most of it's life indoors. The exterior is light Gold Metallic, and in beautiful condition. The paint is clean and shiny and makes a great appearance. Even the pinstripes are original, with the special closed ends on them. There are a few scratches and nicks here and there, although less than you would expect to find on a 24 year old car. There is some VERY VERY light "hazing" in a few spots, and hardly noticeable. The car makes a very nice appearance and should please the lucky winning bidder. There are about 40 photographs below, so that you can take a tour of the entire car.....from outside to inside. Even the rear, and the engine compartments are shown, along with many of the wonderful features and options......please take the time to let all of them load, we're sure that you will be just delighted. The interior is Tan cloth/velour, and is also in Excellent condition. This is a non-smokers car(there IS a Difference), and is extra clean inside. It is loaded with features and options. Everything is power, including the windows and locks. The front seats are heated, and there is even a manual sliding sunroof that tilts up in the rear. Apparently, it leaked at one time( they ALL do, because the drains clog up with leaves etc.), and there is some staining on the headliner(photo below). The front door pockets have a few cracks, and there are some very small cracks on the top of the dash. Again, both very common, and no big deal. The factory Volvo Air Conditioning blows Ice Cold. It even has a modern CD player installed in the dash!! We have just had this Wonderful Volvo Serviced and safety inspected. We have installed a fresh water pump and engine belts. The timing belt has been inspected and determined to be fine for a while, replacement not being necessary. It runs and drives great and should give the lucky winning bidder many years of Safe reliable transportation. This would be a great college car(my two children had one), or a wonderful family car for someone.
