I have for sale my 1995 BMW 740i - RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL. I bought this more than a year ago. This is my daily driver and it has served me faithfully with no major issues. I am selling it because I want to buy a newer model. I have driven the car on several road trips to Philadelphia PA and Richmond VA with no problems what so ever. I still drive the car every day so the miles will be higher than specifed by the end of the auction. Items I have fixed since I bought the car New Center tie rod New lower control arms New fuel pump New radiator New Oxygen Sensors I have done a regular oil change at 3000 miles and tried to keep the car in good working order. The car still has the tires which were on it when I bought it (about 34-35% tread left ). Here are the things I noticed about the car. Engine - Starts and runs ok. Accelerates smoothly in all gears. Does not overheat The ABS and AIRBAG lights have been on since the day I bought it. I have not bothered with those since it does not affect the performance of the vehicle in any way. Just passed GA state emissions Transmission Shifts Ok. No issues noticed. I did a full transmission service with original BMW transmission fluid and filter when I bought the car. Brakes Ok I have changed the brake pads once. I have not inspected the brakes recently but I do not notice any vibration while braking Suspension Front suspension seems to be good. Runs smooth and straight. Exterior Good shape. 1. Paint is in good condition with a few mninor scratches. 2.The passenger side front door has a small dent (hardly noticable) 3. The driver side front door has a small dent (hardly noticable) 4. Rear bumper has a nick in the rubber strip 5. Front windshield has a crack on the passenger side (tried to show this in one of the pictures) 6. Front bumper has a crack in the center (can be seen in one of the pictures) 7. I installed after market smoked lens tail lights. I have the original BMW tail lights if you want them. Interior Decent Shape. I have not detailed recently the car so the interior is not as clean as I would like it to be. 1. Leather seats are in decent shape. No cracks or tears. A touch up with leather dye will bring them back to standard. 2. The CD player mounted in the trunk quit working so I took it out (Its in my garage if you want it). I use my ipod instead. (see the wire running out of the tape player). 3. The AC works ok. I have tried to disclose all I know about the car. There may be other things that have not manifested yet. This is a 17 year old car. Pls look at all the pictures, read the description and do send me an email via ebay with questions. IMPORTANT NOTES I travel every week Monday thru Thusday so the car is available for pickup FRI - SUN only. I do not provide temp tags. Please bring yours if you plan to drive the car.
