FOR AUCTION: 1961 Metropolitan convertible. Totally restored. Engine & transmission, carb, generator. starter, fuel pump and water pump, rebuilt by professional mechanics.Body was sand blasted, floor was painted with. POR 15 paint then reinforced with Dow Chemical Beta Brace. (Per Met. technical bulletin.) I have installed new wheel and master clutch cylinders as well as brake lines, clutch line, brake shoes, gas tank and gas line. Has a new starter switch. The radiator, heater and windshield wiper motor have been cleaned and painted. The new interior package, as well as the new top, are from Shannon Crutcher. Includes new grille surround, five (5) new Coker white-wall tires, new windshield, all new weather strip and exhaust system. There are also new rear wheel seals and third member seals. The only things not in working order are the radio, original horn button and gas gauge. This is a multiple trophy winner and an attraction wherever it is taken. I have proof of re-build receipts and pictures of the re-build.
