Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup C-10 was purchased March 7, 1972 from Andy Yeager American Motors dealership in Harrison, Arkansas. It originally cost $3,665.00 brand new, and I am the 6th owner. Factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, 2 wheel drive, long wheelbase. Odometer shows 5.890 miles, but I do not know if that is 105,890 miles or more. · It has brand new tires, Geo-Trac radial XLT with 830 miles on them, with receipt. · It has new, not rebuilt, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. · The heater core was replaced a few years ago. · Dual exhaust and mufflers was installed 8-8-1997, with receipt. · Both exterior door handles are new. · New rubber floor mat. The original build sheet is in the glove box. The picture of the sticker in the glove box is readable. · Has the owner’s manual and protect-o-plate card. · Has radio owner’s manual, though the Kraco radio is not original but works great. · I also have the original bill of sale. I took everything out of the inside of the truck except the dash and steering wheel. Completely detailed it and put it back together. The floor pans still has original paint on them that I waxed before putting everything back. · The original sound deadening mats are still in good shape. · The original gas tank is beautiful and looks like it was put in yesterday. The rust you see on the passenger side door corner and rocker panel is only surface rust, not deep. Cab corner is good on the passenger side. · Steering wheel is out of an old Camaro about a 1976-1981 somewhere in there. · Pioneer speakers are under the seat and the AM/FM cassette radio is a Kraco brand. Driver’s side rocker panel has some rust. Drivers’ side cab corner is rusted out. · It has original and very, very hard to find 1972 Cheyenne rally wheels, beauty rings, and center caps. · The truck has all original trim none missing. Interior only needs a seat cover other than that everything is in good condition. Dash pad is mint perfect. Not even faded. The rust on the undercarriage frame and cab mounts and bed mounts is only surface rust, not deep. They are still solid. Cab rail on passenger side does have some deeper rust. Pickup bed is straight inside and out with usual scratches and rust. There is some rust in the bed floor. · Sliding back glass is not an original item. · Factory original front bumper guards. · Headliner is in great shape and has original sun-visors with starting instructions on driver’s side. · Chrome still has shiny new look. · Front bumper is straight and chrome looks beautiful · Inner grill is perfect, no cracks or breaks. · Chevy emblem looks good and is in good shape. Outer grille has only one bad place where the man I bought the truck from let a jack handle get away from him and it flew up and hit the outer grill making a small hole about the size of a .22 bullet hole. · Hood looks great. · Front fenders are in great shape. · Under the hood is mostly original except the carburetor. · Small block 350 engine I honestly don’t know if this is the original engine or not. · The factory air conditioning doesn’t have a belt on the pulleys but the compressor pulley is free turning. The brakes are fairly new. The original factory crayon marks are still on the firewall. · Battery is good. · All glass in the truck is good with no cracks or breaks not even any stone pings. Windows are tinted. · Cab doors are in good shape nice and straight. · All instruments and gauges work and are in great shape. · Door panels show usual wear not busted or abused. Cardboard glove box is in good shape. This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Sold as is no warranty. This is a cash transaction and the buyer is responsible for pick up and or shipping. Payment must be received within seven (7) days of close of auction. See pictures below. Questions? The original full wheel covers were replaced with very, very hard to find 1972 Chevrolet rally wheels, beauty rings, and center caps by a previous owner.
