Vehicle Detail
1964 Oldsmobile F-85 Vista Cruiser High compression 330-4 barrell, 2sp dynaglide AT, PS, PB, AC, white with blue interior. This is very original Vista, FIRST ONE, car is in decent/rough shape, not perfect. Body panels are good, engine is the high compression 330. Has not been on road for about 7 years, has not been started in 4-5 years. Engine and drivetrain fine, no problems when parked, just have too many vehicles, and then time gets away and its 7-8 years later. Interior is in need of the most work. Time sitting takes its toll there more. Chrome and trim is 95% there or better. Glass, as you can see, is all there but not perfect. Still believe car is salvageable, it is no where near a basket case. I'd like to see someone get it and get it back on the road, I just have too many and no time anymore. Vista will need to be trailered. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Vista is sold AS IS- where is. There is no warranty implied or expressed. I require balance to be paid within 3 days of AUCTION END. Neither vehicle nor title will leave my possesion until all monies are cleared and I am paid in full. Auction winner is responsible for ALL pick-up and delivery arrangements. On Aug-01-11 at 16:26:48 PDT, seller added the following information: ** Been getting a bunch of questions on condition. Let me be clear: you CANNOT just put a battery in the Vista and take off down the road. While the drivetrain is fine, she has been sitting IDLE for at least 4 years. Now, she will crank and if had fresh gas and a clean tank, she may even fire up, BUT, she needs to be gone thru with a tune up to go any further. Gonna need brakes, pads, shoes, etc. SHE HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR 7-8 YEARS. As I state, she has some rust, she is not perfect at all, not even close, she needs a bunch of work and lots of TLC, but, SHE IS NOT A BASKET CASE EITHER. AGAIN, if you are looking for a Vista that you can jump in and drive away with a simple weekend tune up, then look elsewhere. This is not the car for you. NOW, this one has lots of options and WILL make a great cruiser, but its a project and she'll need time. As a parts car she is loaded, but she isn't just a parts car to me. I think she has potential, but its gonna take a bunch of work. Thank you for looking. Hope she goes to a great home.
