I am selling 1956 Nomad project car. The car runs and can be driven. The engine is not original, the car originally had a powerglide transmission, it now has a 350 Chevy V8 with a Borg and Warner T10 4-speed tranny. As you can see in the pictures it has small block 194 fuely heads with aluminum intake manifold and custom exhaust headers. The car has been converted to an alternator, charging system works fine. This car will need restored as you can see in the pictures. I have been purchasing parts, nos tailgate bars, turn signal lenses. It is missing some outside stainless chrome, does not have the original front seat. The interior needs to be redone, needs bodywork and paint, needs some patchwork in floors but you won't fall through them. The frame is solid and looks good you could sandblast and paint. I am trying to describe this car so you realize this can be restored as a driver for minimal price or you can bury yourself in the car and make it a trailer queen. The one good thing is you will still have a Nomad and they are difficult to come by at a reasonable price. I purchased this car without title but can get one for $500.00. Parts car is missing: Original front seat, headliner and interior kit, carpet set, door panels and trunk kit, some outside chrome is missing but can be easily found on e-bay.
