I'm listing a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport which I recently purchased from the 2nd owner. The previous owner was a lady and she drove it back to the east coast often to visit family, so she put a lot of highway miles on it. I believe she owned the Jeep since it had 80k miles on it and a lot of maintenance receipts are included. Jeep currently has around 224,800k miles on it, but it has the 4.0 liter straight 6 cylinder engine in it, which are known for running to 300k miles all the time. It is an automatic tranny and the cruise control does work, along with all other features. (Mileage is changing a little due to driving the vehicle in the last few weeks) I purchased this Jeep for a friend, who's circumstances recently changed and can no longer buy it from me. So, here it is. I've gone through this Jeep from front to back and listed the items below which has just been done to it. * New serpentine belt, flushed the engine and changed the oil, flushed the transmission and added new fluid and conditioner, pulled both front and rear differential covers, cleaned & inspected the differentials and added new gear oil, drained, cleaned and filled the transfer case with new fluid, installed new windshield wipers, charged the air conditioning system and installed a new drivers side window regulator. The tires are at about 65%- 75% tread and will be good for some time. The interior is almost like brand new. The exterior is better than average, but it does have a 12" rusted spot on the passenger side rocker panel only. The rocker panel can be repaired or replaced by any body shop or qualified person, so it doesn't get any worse over time.
