Up for auction is a beautiful 1953 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hard top 6 cly 3 on the tree. The car is a dark blue top and a light grey bottom, with fender skirts. The interior is in good condition as well as the outside paint. The motor compartment is clean as the underneath of the car is also. Although the car is a 6 cyl someone has installed a dual exhaust system. One can tell from the pictures that the dual exhaust was professional done. Known recent repairs are new rear main seal and new battery. If you are a Johnny Cash fan then this car will have an extra meaning to you. If you have seen the movie “Walk The Line” a movie about the life of Johnny Cash. This Plymouth was one of the main cars used in that movie and one of the few that the actor who played Johnnie Cash actual drove. In the pictures attached you will see a framed news paper picture of this car along with other cars in the movie and the cars coordinator for movies. This picture will stay with the car.
