These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1970 DODGE CHARGER IN HEMI ORANGE THAT IS A FACTORY N-CODE 383CI 4BBL. BIG BLOCK WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND DANA REAR END! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Manual steering 2) Manual brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) N-code 383ci/335hp 4bbl. V8 motor 5) Automatic transmission on the column 6) Stock steel wheels with radial tires 7) Bucket seats 8) Hood mounted turn signals 9) Hideaway headlights The car comes from Oklahoma, where it has been collector owned and where lots of the restoration work was done. Previous owner purchased the vehicle as a project and needing paint/interior/motor work and has since invested countless hours of time and labor as well as thousands of dollars into making this car what it is today. TONS of new parts, as well as newer bodywork/paint. Interior is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition with normal general wear here and there. Seats have been completely reupholstered. Door panels are new. Dash seems original and is presentable with wear. Steering wheel has various cracks. Carpet is newer, although not stock fabric. Headliner is new. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a mostly stock 383ci/335hp 4bbl. "N-CODE" big block with automatic TorqueFlite transmission on the column. The engine has a new water pump, oil pump, plugs, plug wires, edelbrock 600 cfm carb, fuel pump, flex fan and engine chrome package as you can see in the pictures. It looks very nice under the hood. The car starts easy and holds 40 PSI of oil pressure at idle. I’ve also rebuilt the front brakes. I put in new front bearings, new wheel cylinders and new brake hoses as well as a new master cylinder. I’ve also installed a new set of headers and have a brand new 2.5” aluminized header-back exhaust system that will come new in the box with the car. All you have to do is install it. The car also comes with new front shocks to be installed. I have also installed a new gas tank and sending unit. The car runs/drives well, with good brakes, good steering etc. but I haven't driven it more than a few blocks. Before being driven regularly it would need to be gone through. You can view a video of the car running at the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV3eQCQBa7Y Underside is VERY SOLID with EXCELLENT FRAME and NICE floorboards. The floor pans and trunk floor were patched by the previous owner. The floor pans were donor floor pans from a parts car and were in nice solid shape. They were laid in and lap welded. The trunk pan was patched using marine fiberglass. I wouldn’t have done it this way, but the result was an amazingly solid repair although not stock looking. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up FAIRLY with good luster for a presentable driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like small chips and a couple of tiny scratches and such, and could use a good wetsanding and buffing to bring out optimum shine. The original wiring harness is in good shape and comes with the car. This will need to be installed to get the lights and such working to be street legal. Couple of windows are off the track and need adjustment and put back in place (glass is good). Some items still need installation (NEW exhaust, NEW front shocks, and some various trim pieces and interior pieces, all included with the car). When motor was put back together with all the new parts, it started developing a miss under acceleration (runs/drives but should be gone over before being put on the road). Small items here and there are missing (too many small things to list). Front lower valence has a small dent by passenger side. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT LOOKING AND EYE CATCHING CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH SOME FINISHING WORK AND TLC. GREAT PROJECT MOSTLY COMPLETED THAT YOU CAN DRIVE AS IS WITH MINOR TLC OR AND FINISH TINKERING WITH IT AS YOU SEE FIT OVER THE WINTER. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF AN EYE CATCHING 1970 DODGE CHARGER WITH FACTORY 383CI N-CODE BIG BLOCK, DRESSED IN HEMI ORANGE WITH GREAT POTENTIAL FOR A SHOW STOPPER!.
