1978 Suzuki GS

One of the first muscle bikes,runs strong and fast. I have restored this bike using correct vintage GS1000 parts,even the wiring repairs have used 78 Suzuki wire with new connectors.I replace the troublesome stock vacuum petcock with a Pingle petcock,that with the new spark plug wires,all of the old soft Phillips case screws replaced with modern stainless socket head screws and battery,new tires,gaskets,brakes,chain etc. are about all the new parts used.The bike is the original color,no attempt has been made to detail the bike in any way.The seat cover is also not original.A P.O. cut the rear triangles to mount a 4 to 1 exhaust,I had vintage Suzuki triangles professionally welded in place to hang original exhaust pipes.There is not enough room to list all that I have done to restore this bike but the list is very extensive.The engine is strong and smoke free,the miles are original to the bike.You only need to hang on tight because this bike is very quick.There only needs to have a small wiring done,the turn signals work fine they don't shut off until the key is turned off.I have not had the time to get into it,but it can't be much of a job.Is this bike in show room condition,NO,so don't expect this 34 year old classic to be like new.It does run strong 100% road safe,current registration,and as I said before fast.
