BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 15 FEEDBACK MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BID OR IT WILL BE CANCELLED AND BLOCKED Forsale is my RELISTED 1987 GTI VR6, Below I will break down the car into seprate catergories 1987 GTI VR6 with a full OBD1 swap from a Passat, The car has lifter noise, I dropped the pan to make sure the bottom end was good, I pulled rod and main caps and all checked out 100% .. Drivetrain- 1995 Passat full obd1 fusebox foward harness with roughly 85k, New timing chain at time of install. - As stated, NEEDS LIFTERS. If I wasnt trying to finish my 94 Wolfsburg edt vr6 turbo I would not be selling. I just can not afford to do both the way I want, I have a 3.0l I planned on putting in with a vortech blower. Only if money wasnt an issue!, The car still runs and drives, just lifters are noisy. Exterior- It has been resprayed at one point, Its in pretty nice shape but to be 100% it could use a buff or wetsand and buff. It still shines like a diamond however. The drivers rear quarter was hit, not bad but it does have a couple dents that could be worked out but I just dont have the time nor money to have it done right. The factory flares will cover the damage but they havent been installed yet exept for the fronts to get an idea for a potential wheel fitment It has a single round headlight conversion with a 7 slat badgeless grill and h4 HID kit, I have tons of extra mk2 parts Il included if you choose to change front ends etc, Since last listing the upper eyebrow that came with the car has been painted and installed. Also windsheild will need to be replaced if not done prior to sale. Interior- Super clean other than two slight cuts on drivers seat, Passangers and rear seats are in perfect shape with tight bolsters, dash is clean with no cracks Suspension- H&R cupkit, Poly bushings thruout. Exhaust- Stainless TT 2.5 with Borla muffler and euro sytle oval exhaust tip Final story is, Windsheild lifters and some random TLC and youl have a nice sleeper of a gti. If I had the money you wouldnt be reading about this, Feel free to inquire about anything, Il help answer any questions I can, Im a strictly VW guy for the past 10 years.
