Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING AND PHS DOCUMENTED MAYLARD MAIZE (RARE BLUE COLOR) 1969 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS 400CI V8 AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT RUNS/DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU CAN HOP IN AN DRIVE IT ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW. SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power front DISC brakes Power convertible top Power windows Remote driver's side mirror Standard parchment bucket seat interior with console and floor shift 14" Pontiac Rally II wheels with white letter radial tires Factory console mounted tachometer In dash clock Dual exhaust 12 bolt rear end Vehicle has had an older restoration sometime in the mid 1990s from what I was told. It came from a collector out west in Wisconsin that kept the vehicle indoors and used it on occasion during the spring and summer months. Newer dual exhaust system was installed as well as various other service/maintenance parts. Runs/drives like a champ. Not much more I can say about it. Fully PHS Documented that is included with the sale. Interior is in VERY GOOD condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice with general minor wear. Door panels are very nice in the front (rear ones are worn). Nice carpet. Dash pad has wear by the middle. Console is good overall and very presentable. Convertible top is in excellent shape. Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock MATCHING NUMBERS 400CI V8 motor with automatic transmission. This is a non ram air unit with four barrel carburetor and virtually all original except for added mild racing camshaft and long tube headers and newer dual exhaust system. Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without any worries. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show, and it runs beautifully. Underneath the car has a ROCK SOLID frame with very nice original floorboards. Good solid trunk with no holes and structurally very nice and dry. Anyone can easily see the vehicle was garaged and very well taken care of. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a NICE driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some general small scratches/chips/dents etc. as you would expect from driving along and regular use. Trunk pan has had some minor patch work in the past but looks pretty solid and has no holes in it. Rear bumper could use rechroming/replacing. Missing: spare tire/jack. Not working: horn, perhaps a couple of bulbs may need replacing, clock. Rear quarter panels have some filler in them but overall look pretty straight as you can see in the pictures. Quarter drop-offs have some minor rust but that's very minor. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GORGEOUS CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER RIGHT NOW, JUST HOP IN, TURN THE KEY AND GO ANYWHERE YOU WANT WITH IT. DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER. THIS IS A NICELY OPTIONED, RARE COLOR COMBINATION, NUMBERS MATCHING AND PHS DOCUMENTED 1969 GTO CONVERTIBLE THAT YOU CAN ENJOY WITH THE TOP DOWN OR KEEP AS PART OF YOUR CLASSIC CRUISER COLLECTION!.
