I have a 1993 Honda Prelude SI for auction, that’s currently not running ~well at least not properly! Let’s get down to the details on the car. I purchased this car last week as a commuter and the person I bought it from stated the car needed a starter. Well I replaced the starter lo and behold the starter wasn’t the problem… I fired up the car and it was knocking badly, leads me to believe it’s a spun bearing or something related to the bottom end. I don’t have the time to really swap the motor, so I am really just going to let it go to someone with the time. I have not pulled the pan yet, so I am not 100% the extent of the damage. The car is basically a complete rolling chassis at this time and I am NOT going to part it out. It has 4 SI wheels with decent tires on it and all the glass is intact in great condition. The car also has 4-2-1 headers and fabbed intake arm. I belive the car just needs another h23 longblock and you should be good to go.. Specs: 175,XXX Miles M/T H23 (Engine Knock) Black Interior Granada Black Exterior Clean Title Straight Body (Small dent on pass rear quarter) All Power Options (Fully loaded for a 1993 SI) Complete A/C Some things I would replace: Radio (There isn’t one) Speakers (There are none) Radio Harness (Cleanup cut wires) Radio Console/Shifter (It’s cracked) Carpet (Not now, but in the future) Paint (Faded typical honda black paint) Drives side door switch bezel (It’s cracked) I really would like to keep the car but again, I really don’t have the time. The car does not come with warranty and I have done my best to give you as much detail about the car as possible. Buyer will be responsible for tow and removal, if not picked up within 72 hrs a storage fee of $25.00 per day will be assessed until the vehicle is picked up. I prefer not to ship the vehicle, but I am willing to work with the buyer after the vehicle is paid in full. The car may just need a new or refurbished head. The noise may be coming from the head. Thanks
