Up for sale is my Jetta. It's been a very dependable car. Turn off the a/c and it gets 45+ MPG! No rust. Still has the owners manuals. I've owned it for over eight years. Taken it to Wyoming a couple times, Ohio, Nevada, Grand Canyon and never doubted it. Being a diesel mechanic, retired now, I've repaired or replaced just about everything it. At or about 225k miles it got a waterpump, heater core, new Sanden a/c pump, both cv joints, all brakes, injection pump, injectors, timing belt, idler pulley, belts, alternator, nice headliner and a set of fog lights. After being parked for 2+ years I got it out of moth balls for my son to use at that time I had a new windshield installed and new battery. With the exception of the moon roof and the a/c everything works. I think the cable is broken on the moon roof. It does not leak. I removed the crank and put it in the glove box. the a/c which has had the 134-r changeover is probably just low on fluid. It worked when parked 2+ yrs. ago. As for body damage, it's got a couple of small dents in the drivers side rear door, the door trim on the drivers side was missing and I masted & painted the area black and a small dent or two in the right front fender. All can be seen in the photos. The interior is pretty good shape, new dash mat, cloth headliner professionally installed, have had seat covers on the front since I've owned it. The rear is in good shape, no tears. It's a non-catalyst (no converter)and has a custom Flowmaster exhaust system. It's got a K&N air filter + the air intake revamped for better flow. Helps get that 45+mpg. That's about it. I hate to sell it but I got to many vehicle to keep up with. Any questions e-mail me and I will be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. Good luck.
