This is a very collectable, nice running, all original 1976 Porsche 912 "E". This Porsche is a cosmetically solid desert car with no rust, rot, or body work and would be a great gas-saving daily driver for someone just as it is. This Porsche has been stored indoors and doesn't need much at all and would make someone a very reliable car. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. Please see www.porsche912e.com for the more info on this rare and highly collectible car. Cosmetically, the body of this Porsche is complete and very straight, but in need of a repaint. I only see 2 small "dings" less than the size of my fingertip (see pics). It does have the expected small paint chips and scratches and there are 3 quarter size paint chips on the passenger 1/4 (see pic), these are not dented and there are no dent or rust repairs needed on this car, just paint! The floors and undercarriage are very solid and very clean. All glass is clean, clear and in good shape. Trunk area and quarters look excellent and the car has never been in any type of accident, all panels are factory original and the original color is Red. Tires have a little life in them, but I would advise replacing them pretty soon. Factory Porsche alloy wheels are in great shape and original. This Porsche interior is all original except for the radio. The front seats have splits at the seams and will need recovered as the pictures show. Back seats are immaculate! The dash, dash pad and door panels are excellent. The rear view mirror needs reattached and the knob ends of the window cranks need replaced as does the glove box lock and plastic over clock gauge. Everything works with the exception of the speedometer/odometer, which has always read 0000000 since I got the car, so I am selling this Porsche "true mileage unknown" Mechanically, this Porsche engine sounds healthy, trans shifts nice and clutch feels perfect. The steering is smooth and the car handles and brakes well. No mechanical work needed, this car is reliable, get in and go! I have in hand the clean and clear California title/ownership certificate on this Porsche. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
