This is a 1954 Ford 1-ton dump truck that I purchased a few years ago to restore as a farm truck. It started, ran well and the dump bed worked well as well. It has sat for over 3 years and when I tried to start it a while back I believe the bendix wouldn't kick out an just spun. I selling it as I have too many projects right now. It has a 239 V-8 with a 4 speed transmission and 4.57 gears in the rear. The bed measures about 9'6" deep and 7 feet wide. It has been changed from 6 volt to 12 volt and has a newer alternator. The brakes work good and all the lights work including the top cab lights. The speedometer doesn't work but with the low gears it'll only go about 45mph. The tires all hold air except the passenger front goes flat after about 7 days, as they are weathered. This truck would make a nice landscape, wood hauler or farm truck, with a little piece of American history. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
