Hello, you are looking at a 97' Mustang Cobra that was built by Strictly Performance in Houston TX. This is a street/strip killing machine that packs a Whipple charged 4.6L crate engine from SVT. The car runs a 2.3L Whipple Supercharger with a 2.6 pulley at 19lbs of boost on 91 pump gas. The engine is fed by a full Aeromotive fuel system with AN fittings and braided fuel line from the front to the back. The car has 2 custom tunes, and a stock tune, one is for 91 octane/c16 race fuel, and the other is for the 125 shot of nitrous under the trunk lid. The transmission is a very built c-4 with trans break and reverse shift pattern. The engine runs 2 MSD DIS-4 ignition boxes with a 2-step, it also has a Fluidyne radiator and heat exchanger. The exhaust is a set of BBK long tubes into 3" tubing, X-piped into flowmasters. This car ran a 10.40 at 130MPH at 4800ft elevation! The body has some damage as you can see in the pics from a slick exploding down the track, but other than the rear bumper, the car is straight. The interior is fully caged with fire extinguisher and 4 point harnesses, however I still have all factory interior and electronics except the 2 front seats and will be including them in this auction. The rear end is bullet proof with 3.27 gears with 32 spline axels and girdle. The car has recently developed a miss, from experience with this car I would say it's most likely a coil pack or msd box malfunction, but still runs and drives with no hesitation! The ONLY reason I am selling this car is because I'm moving half way across the country, and is time to start saving money for the baby we have due next month. I was very brief with this description and am leaving a lot of little things out that I can't think of at this time, so please feel free to ask questions.
