Vehicle Detail

1932 Ford Truck Modified Chopped 6 inches channeled 6 inches Custom built frame 2x4 steel box and hand formed rear frame kick-ups Rear cross member is Model T with a new reproduction model T buggy spring Rear end is 8" Ford with 3.55 gears and a Trac-Lock locking diff Ford drum brakes in the back The front axle is Superbell 5" drop Front brakes are Wilwood disk Superbell disk brake covers Front hairpins are Pete and Jakes. Front and rear shock both use Ford F-1 shock mounts. Steering is cross steer Vega box. Rims and tires are Coker bought new and mounted and balanced by coker. 600 x 16 on the front and 750 x 16 on the back. The engine is a 305 small block Chevy with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Both were fresh rebuilds when the car was built. Its been driven approx 5000 miles since built. Brake master cylinder is manual with a proportioning valve in the rear to balance the grip. Residual pressure valves are used since the master is lower than the slaves. Induction is an Edelbrock 3x2 intake topped with 3 chromed Stromberg 97's. The ignition is a Pertronix distributor - not a kit its the entire distributor from Pertronix. The radiator is an Aluminum Mustang radiator from Summit with an electric fan. The seats are Speedway Bombers 16" wide. Dash gauges are not connected. The 3 gauge cluster is Stewart Warner Wings gauges, Temp, Oil Press, and Volts. The dash is from a 1952 Chevy Deluxe. The current exhaust is only side dump. They are Lakes Headers with baffles. Not too loud. The car weighs approx 1900 lbs. It is quick with the 305 Chevy It has run a best of 13.2 in the 1/4 with the 3x2 setup. I think it was a little faster with the 4 barrel setup. Doesn't look as good though. I want to be up front an honest about this car. Its a hot rod. Its hot. Its a little cramped. It handles like a go cart. The car was in Ol Skool Rodz Issue #31 Jan 2009.I am 5'-9" and 165lbs. I fit in this car just fine. My wife is 5'-3" she thinks it roomy. If you are 6'-3" and 250lbs you might not fit in it. 1. Car is sold with a 1964 Iowa title for a 1932 Ford Truck - THE VIN ON THE FRAME RAIL IS NOT THE VIN ON THE TITLE - title is included as a souvenir. 2. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 48 hours of auctions end. 3.
