Up for sale is an 1988 Chrysler Conquest, same as the Mits Starion. This car was an MPI car with lots of mods when I first got it. The computer in it at that time I wasn't happy with so I started making changes. I believe this car was put together to make some good HP in its early days. She was an automatic car then swapped to a five speed. The auto cars have a slightly larger tunnel. These tunnels can hold the rock solid T-56 trannys. Its a clean and stock, well done swap. After changing the computer back to stock I decided to change everything back to stock. Stock seems to last longer, plus its a bit better to work on with a factory manual. Things that are not stock are the 255 walbro fuel pump, the white face gauges, the tokico shocks, 21 lbs flywheel, and a KDM 2.5 stainless steel downpipe. All of these things are very tasteful mods. The g54b motor is a stock short block minus the balance shafts. The head is newer with a new felpro gasket, around 1000 miles and has a kit that does away with the old style jet valves. The turbo is a stock 12a. It spools nicely. This car runs, shifts, and drives as it should. I would feel safe driving this car cross country. Paint and body look good, it is an older respray but still looks good, nice and shiny. The louvers in the pics do not go with the car. The louvers are long gone.
