1979 Pontiac Trans Am Black on Black 6.6 Litre 403 Engine 4 Wheel Disc Brakes WS6 Handling Package T Tops Up for auction is a very nice *RUST FREE* black on black 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with t tops and a 78 nose/front bumper. The body on this car is 100% rock solid with no rust to be found anywhere. The rear cross brace (the one that is usually eaten away with rust on these cars) is just as solid and rust free as the rest of the car. I have been all over this car from top to bottom and front to back and all I can find is one small hole smaller than the size of a quarter in the trunk and that's it. All body panels line up good. The doors open and close tight with zero amount of sag. The t tops fit tight and do not leak. It has 57,985 miles on the odometer. It has the 6.6 litre 403 engine and an automatic transmission. Both motor and transmission have been rebuilt. Motor has been modified with a high lift cam giving it an enormous amount of torque over a stock 403. It is black with black interior. Paint and interior are both in good shape. It has new carpet. Needs headliner and kick panels. Has 4 wheel disc brakes. Original wheels with new white lettered Goodyear Eagle GT 225/70-15 tires. The car did come factory with a/c but the compressor is missing. I do have a new shaker scoop seal and clips that will come with the car. The car looks, runs, and drives great. I do require a $200 deposit through pay pal within 24 hours of end of auction and remaining balance to be paid in cash and vehicle picked up within 7 days of end of auction unless other arrangements have been made.
