Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING GRABBER GREEN 1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH I FASTBACK AND 53K MILES ON THE ODOMETER! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Manual steering 2) Front Disc brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) #s MATCHING 351ci Windsor 4V motor 5) Rare Manual 3 speed transmission 6) Magnum 500 wheels with radial tires 7) Front and rear spoilers 8) Mach I package (real Mach I) The car comes from Pennsylvania, where it has been collector owned and maintained. This was an older refurbishing on this car which included bodywork/paint, wheels/tires, and some minor interior redoing probably during the late 90s. I have cleaned up the engine bay a bit (100% stock with no modifications) and did some minor tlc, that's about it. Interior is in GOOD condition with normal general wear here and there. Seats are good with small tears here and there but look presentable. Door panels have cracks by the armrest areas otherwise look pretty good. Dash pad has a new plastic cap over the original dash and now looks new. Headliner is good. Steering wheel has some cracks. Console is driver quality. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock MATCHING NUMBERS M-CODE 351 Windsor 4V motor which is 100% bone stock from the looks of it. Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up FAIRLY NICE with good luster for a presentable driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like small chips and a couple of tiny scratches and such, and some overspray as all the trim was not taken off before it was repainted. Underside has some rust by front frame rails, which have had prior welding work (look solid but will need cleaning up a bit). Torque boxes have had prior patches as well. Floors look very good overall so they may or may not have been replaced in the past. Trunk pan is carpeted and looks clean. Missing: a couple of small weather-stripping pieces, door tag, spare/jack, radio. Chrome is pitted and should be upgraded (bumpers, door handles, window trim). Not working: clock, couple of smaller gauges not accurate, may need a couple of bulbs replaced as i'm not sure all signals working right. Engine bay's inner fender wells have rivets throughout from prior repair (done well but should be cleaned up). That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT LOOKING AND EYE CATCHING CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND FINISH TINKERING WITH IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A MATCHING NUMBERS 1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH I FASTBACK WITH 53K MILES ON THE ODOMETER!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
