Vehicle Detail
NEW LOWER RESERVE-BID TO OWN THIS BEAUTIFUL CHARGER RALLYE Presented here for auction is a beautiful, rare 1972 Charger Rallye equipped with a 440 Cubic Inch big block motor, hemi 4-speed with HURST pistol grip shifter, and 3.54 Dana Rear. The 1972 Charger bowed with a new "Rallye" option to replace the former R/T version. This is an extremely rare original U-code machine and is just 1 of 165 made. This car has all the right stuff and is a factory FE5 Rallye Red, black interior and black vinyl top car. It also is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, bucket seats, 4-speed center console, hood pins, power bulge hood, dual chrome racing mirrors, and chin spoiler (added). This car has NO rust and all of the body panels are original. It also sports its original paint under the hood, jams and trunk. Check out the orginal insulation blanket under the hood. Even the interior and glass are original. Doors open and shut like a new 72 Charger and windows glide up and down their tracks perfectly. This is NOT a restored car and would be considered a Survivor except for it has had 1 repaint a few years back. While I have not been able to verify the mileage is accurate, I believe that it is very likely to be correct based on the little wear and tear evident on this vehicle. This is an unbelievably tight and crisp Charger. I have the original build sheet and the car is all matching numbers except for the block. The block is a factory 1972 H440 HP and is date coded correct for this beast. The engine always starts first time even after sitting and runs great with NO smoke, and the pistol grip 4-speed trans shifts smoothly. I have a clear title. LOW RESERVE SO BID TO OWN.
