1985 BMW K-Series

This is a 1985 K100RS. It has only one owner who has recently died. The last time it was on the road was in 1998. It has been sitting in the garage for the past 13 years. When hooked up to a battery box the engine spins over perfectly and wants to start but there is no fuel pump so it won't.As you can see by the pictures this bike would be a perfect restoration project. i cannot tell you much about this bike as I am not a BMW motorcycle expert.I hope the pictures can give you a clear picture of the bikes condition. The fiberglass farings in the front is damaged and the right side driver peg is broken off. Most people i have talked to would remove the front farings and just leave them off. There is one trim piece not shown in the photo that goes on the side of the bike to cover the battery. I had removed it and forgot to put it in for the picture. It is in perfect cond. I have a clear title and it was bought new in FL on Dec 13, 1984. The side bags are shown in the pictures, one seem to be missing a piece. In my opinion, to someone who knows how to work on BMW bikes it would not take too much to get this bike running. I have this listed as a NO RESERVE auction. Local pick-up is required and we will take cash on pick-up only. The last bidder won the auction and then never contacted me for payment. That is why i am relisting this again. thanks
