Vehicle Detail

57 Chevy 150 Sedan 2 DR. Body Off restoration NEW 350/325+HP Crate Engine installed May of 2008 The new engine has about 1700 miles on it. The Speedometer shows a little over 4000 miles, about 2300 of those were before the new engine was installed. 4 Speed Transmission New rear end with 3.55 gears, new ring and pinion set New Eldelbrock carb,, New plug and wires New Valve Covers, New Altenator, New fuel pump New water pump & gasket ,New shocks, New headers with 2” exhaust New Wiring harness. New sun visors and brackets, New passenger and drivers side tinted glass. New seal Plates, Frame Sand Blasted and painted with tractor paint. All New Floor and Trunk Pans, Trunk Insulation and Mat. Front Disk Brakes, 2” Drop Spindles, 1 ¼” Tubes, Power Booster, Power Booster Stainless New leafs, new ball joints, new control arm bushings, new idler arm bearing kit. Dakota Digital Dash, New Speedometer Cable Vintage Air, Am/fm-CD Stereo Front and rear speakers with new wiring. New Aluminum Radiator,2 New Cooling Fans. 15” American Racing wheels w/ new P215/65R15 tires. Refurbished and painted steering wheel. New chrome hood bullets, silver hood “V”, silver hood script, gold grill insert New hood painted with air brushed flames. Torch Red Paint Most of the major restoration was done in 2005. The car runs and drive well and has COLD air. There are a few blemishes as you can see in the pics. There is a small area above the drivers side front wheel where the tire scraped when going over a dip and rubbed the fender. That was due the the 2" drop spindles. The chrome on the rear bumper and around the headlights is pitted. The 4 speed transmission is the same one that was in the car when I bought it. I am not sure what kind it is but I think it may have come out of a later model vehicle. I had it at a "Bud Ward" car auction about 2 years ago with a $25K reserve on it. It got up to $22K and I turned it down, that was before the economy went south. I have spent for over $35000.00 on the car. Michael Florence, Lonoke, AR.
