Vehicle Detail

1991 SAAB 900 Convertible. This is a rare model that is getting harder and harder to find these days. This car is an instant classic. This car has spent the last 10 years as a summer cruiser and parade car only. It hasn't seen rain or snow in the last decade, if not longer. The car is completely solid top to bottom, with only a minor rust bubble on the gas cap flip open door. The car runs and drives awesome, it just had a new axle put in and had recent front suspension work completed. The top is clean with no rips or leaks, and the convertible top motor works perfectly, it goes up and down with no problems. The exterior body is clean and solid, not rust or dents except for a rust bubble on the gas cap door. The paint is good, it's a little oxidized on the front half, but i goes away and blends perfectly with the rest of the car after a quick polish. The interior is good, except for the leather seats are starting to lose the stitching. The leather itself is in great shape, it's just coming apart at the seams, but the car comes with a set of really nice sheepskin seat covers that hide the split seams quite nicely! It has all the power options and everything works. It even has the factory CD player! It also comes with the original owners manual. The car does have a couple of mechanical issues. For about two years it has been making noise from the differential. It doesn't affect the driveability of the car, but you can hear it. It also recently developed a coolant leak from the water pump seal area. I believe the gasket for the water pump is blown, and this will affect the driveability of the car. It drives for short distances, but I would not trust it for any long distance treks. Luckily, the car is stored at a friends auto repair shop, and it can be fixed before it's picked up. Otherwise, it will need to be towed, buyers choice. Here is your opportunity to get into a cheap classic car that will only appreciate in value. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!. Also, did I mention that this car is being sold with no reserve? I'll even start the auction at a penny! Crazy, I know! Please feel free to ask any questions! Good luck! This is a used car and it is being sold as-is with no warranty, expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for pick up of car within 7 days of auction end. Vehicle may be shipped at the expense of the buyer only after full vehicle purchase price is paid in full. Any bidders with zero feedback must contact me prior to bidding or their bid will be automatically cancelled, even if it is the winning bid. Any international bidder must contact me before bidding. On Jul-14-11 at 03:57:08 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is stored at AB Tire, on East Washington Street in Chagrin Falls. Please contact me if you would like to see the car. Thanks! On Jul-16-11 at 17:45:26 PDT, seller added the following information: It has just been brought to my attention that the speedometer/odometer has started acting up and now only works when it wants to, so it will probably need a speedometer cable or something along those lines. Also, when the vehicle is running it has a minor periodic gas drip from the fuel filter. I was told that it is a banjo seal or aluminum washer that needs replaced at the filter. I just wanted to let everyone know as I am trying to be upfront and honest about the vehicle before I sell it.
